We held our In Person Welcome Back Event on Saturday, 11/5, and thanks to you we had a great turnout, with great energy in the room and a slate of informative presentations!

Our opening day is scheduled for Saturday, 11/19, and Mother Nature is finally starting to cooperate! Strong snowmaking conditions are forecasted for throughout the week and our team will be out there taking advantage as much as they can. Of course we have lessons scheduled for opening weekend! Please check your schedule to make sure you are ready to work if you are scheduled for groups and/or booked in a private.

As we get closer and closer to opening day, its time to take your seasonal equipment inventory. Please make sure you have all of your ski/ride equipment set for the season and ready to pass our mountain safety inspection. 

Also, please make sure you have your nametag and uniform kit ready to go for the season.

Ready to view your schedule for the season and/or sign up for clinics? Simply go to any browser window and type instructor.snow.com into the address line. You will need an active 10 digit pass number and the password: $snoW2223 to log in.

The start of a new season, means there must be mandatory LIFT training videos for all staff to complete before their first day of work. You should have complete access to these videos, so if you do not please reach out to your manager ASAP.

And remember, because you get paid for completing any LIFT training, make sure to fill out a timecard telling us exactly how long it took you to complete them. Use this link. 

For this season, we have created a time card link that will autofill your name, employee number, and email. Simply, use this link on your mobile device or computer, which will take you through your Epic Employee Profile to autofill these details. New this year we now have a smartphone app for the Ski and Ride School! Simply, click here to download it and then follow the steps to add it to your home screen.

The Annual Okemo Ski and Snowboard Swap to benefit Okemo Mountain School is the place to gear up for the winter with new and used gear at great prices.  You will find everything you need to get out on the hill this season…skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets, goggles, outerwear, and more!  The best part about it is that all proceeds go to benefit the Okemo Mountain School in Ludlow, VT. The 2022-23 winter season started early at Breckenridge in Colorado thanks to snowmaking temps and 14 inches of fresh snow over the weekend. Opening day was this past Wednesday, 11/9. Over the weekend, saw the grand opening of Rip's Ride newly upgraded chairlift and the west, Vail Mountain opened for its 60th anniversary season.

Northstar, Kirkwood and Heavenly in California all opened early this Saturday, 11/12, to enjoy the fresh snow that blanketed the Tahoe region this past week. Northstar and Kirkwood are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.

On Monday, Oct. 24, the employee devices Wi-Fi network, “VailResorts_Employee_Devices” will be replaced by a new wireless network named “EpicEmployee.” The new network is available now at your resort/location for you to connect to ahead of the transition. Follow these access and password instructions to connect to the new “EpicEmployee” network. Please ensure you are logged in with your Vail Resorts User ID to access the network instructions and password. After Monday at 9:00 am MT, “VailResorts_Employee_Devices” will no longer be available.
