Having lived and worked on the Mountain for more than 13 years now, I’ve grown familiar with much of what makes the Sewanee experience so special. So when my children enrolled here, I knew (at least partly!) what to expect. I realize I’m lucky—for some Sewanee families, navigating the ins and outs of campus life can be a little overwhelming at first.
That’s why I’m excited to launch From the Quad: News for Sewanee Families—a one-stop resource for all your most pressing questions, from practical matters to insights about the traditions and rhythms of this unique place. Each month, this newsletter will bring you updates from across Sewanee’s programs and departments, covering everything from student dining options and important deadlines to upcoming athletic events. If it’s something you’re curious about as a Sewanee parent or family member, you’re likely to find it here!

- Unlimited swipes at McClurg.
- Our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall, open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. every day.

You can add extra money (Domain Dollars) to your student's account here.
If your student is sick, they can request a takeout box to fill up themselves, or they can ask a friend to pick up a box.
We know it's hard to be far away for your student's birthday, but you can request a birthday treat, so they know you're thinking of them!
Our website, dining.sewanee.edu, is a great place to find all this information and more—including menus, hours of operation, and staff contact information. You can also engage with us on Facebook and Instagram!
