In our interview with Dontae, we cover everything from Dontae's advice for alums interested in coaching ("I encourage you to reach out to a school in your area that doesn’t have a team and encourage them to start one with you!") to podcasting tips he learned along the way, ("If you want an easy way, go to Spotify for podcasters...In regards to content, just speak on something that you genuinely are interested in!") to his biggest takeaways from his interviews with notable alumni, ("Through all of these guests, it has been a confirmation that EVERYONE should do speech and debate.").

The Pay it Forward Fund was established by Joe and Pam Wycoff and the alumni of Apple Valley High School to provide access to speech and debate through free NSDA memberships and resources for students and coaches. Already this year, over 220 schools have received free or discounted memberships!
