Message from Incoming ChairGreetings and Welcome to Fall!
Although our San Diego version of fall isn’t extreme, we can still feel a bit of change in the air. As such, we are grateful beyond words for all of our BECOP Executive Board members for their contributions, tenacity and passion for continuous improvement during the past year! In particular, we thank our Board members who have given so much and completed their rotations. Stay tuned as we’ll be thanking them in upcoming editions of our Newsletter!
As incoming BECOP Chair 2022, I personally invite you to participate in the continuous improvement of our UC San Diego community. We have open positions on the board and seek passionate and/or experienced partners from Campus and Health to join us as we provide learning, sharing and social opportunities for our community! See ‘Nominations' in this newsletter for positions and links.
We like to think of ourselves as fun; not a usual boring board group. For 2022, we’ll further our focus on fun innovation, drive for improvement, support for each other, and providing meaningful and enjoyable events and sessions. Nominate yourself for adventure, career planning, networking, serving others, learning in areas that align with your goals, or all of the above! You can even nominate someone you know!
Please do reach out to me (kwaldrop@ucsd.edu or MSTeams) or Ana Portlock (aportlock@ucsd.edu, or MSTeams) if you’d like to discuss the positions, nominations or BECOP in general. Thank you for your time in reading this and perhaps we’ll be working with you really soon!
Best regards,
Kevin
