Portland's Comprehensive Plan Update E-News
July 2015
What a long, thoughtful trip it's been!
Last Tuesday, July 14, the Planning and Sustainability Commission got to one action short of recommending the entire Comprehensive Plan package to City Council. But they opted to hold off on the last item — the Goals and Policies document  until they heard from the project's Community Involvement Committee (CIC) on July 28. A fitting tribute to the hard work of this all-volunteer advisory committee.

Discussion drafts for zoning code updates are on their way

Employment land, campus institutions and mixed use zones projects will update zoning codes that regulate size, allowed uses, location and scale of new buildings and development.
