| Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Symposium
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Seton Hall will again offer a special, one-credit workshop on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 20, 2025) from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. in Bethany Hall (virtual option also available). Open to all students, the workshop will examine perspectives on racism, privilege, and justice, including informative assessments of historical and contemporary issues from faculty.

| National Day of Racial Healing
The National Day of Racial Healing, which takes place on January 21, is an annual observance dedicated to charting a path toward racial equity using relationship-building, truth-telling, healing, and solidarity. Launched in 2017, it is an opportunity to bring all people together and inspire collective action to build common ground for a more just and equitable world. Learn more here.

| SHU Blue Fridays
Every Friday, University Center Information Desk
Show your Pirate Pride! We welcome anyone wearing SHU blue or SHU apparel on Fridays to say hello, take a photo, and pick up a piece of candy from the University Center Information Desk. SHU Blue Fridays will take place on all Fridays when the University is open. Be sure to rep your blue. GO PIRATES!

As we mark the 25th anniversary of the tragic Boland Hall fire, we invite you to join us for a special Mass of Remembrance and Hope. The Mass will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Immaculate Conception Chapel.

January 19 is World Religion Day, which is dedicated to acknowledging and respecting the various religious traditions and beliefs practiced around the world. Celebrating this day is an opportunity to share and educate oneself.

MLK Day Luminary and Canned Food Drive (January 20, South Orange)
Annual MLK Day luminary and illumination event. Start at the Skate House for a brief ceremony, and wander the park to see the video and lighting installations.
