Just-In-Time Information (JIT)
The PMI grants team recommends preparing JIT materials early. In recent weeks some NIH institutes have requested return of JIT items within 24 hours.
From NIH:
If within a fundable range, although not an indicator of an award decision, the NIH Institute or Center may reach out with a request to include Just-in-Time (JIT) information.
JIT information requested includes:
Other Support
Certification of Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval
Certification of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) approval
Human Subjects training certification for all key personnel
JIT information must be submitted for NIH review and evaluation prior to making an award. This information may be submitted via the Just-In-Time Function within eRA Commons.
Project directors/principal investigators (PD/PIs) must work with their organization's administrative officials to prepare and submit JIT materials. If questions about the JIT process arise, administrative officials can also gain clarification from the grants management specialist assigned to the application. Grants.gov JIT process

Planning a proposal submission in the next 2 - 3 months? In an effort to better serve you, the PMI grants team requests that PIs and Fellows notify us as far in advance as possible of submission plans. This ensures ample time to complete departmental requirements and also route to OSP for review by their deadline. Here is the link to the new SRS intake tool for new/resubmission requests: REDCap
