- In order to compute a member’s unused sick leave that is eligible for conversion to service credit, TRSL employers must certify certain sick leave data.
- This data does not include the employee’s sick leave balance with their employer at the time of termination or retirement.
- TRSL must obtain information, such as the amount of sick leave days used during each fiscal year of employment and the number of sick leave days paid at retirement, in order to compute unused sick leave eligible for service conversion at the time of retirement.
