(SACRAMENTO, CA) - Alternative/reggae powerhouse, Iration will perform their hits at the California State Fair on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 as part of the Toyota Concert Series on the Sky River Casino Stage, bringing their mix of reggae, pop, and rock.
Iration was formed in Isla Vista, CA and rooted in the Hawaiian upbringing of its members. For nearly two decades, the group has blended reggae, rock, and pop into a melodic, laid-back sound that has earned them over 1 billion streams, multiple No. 1 albums on the Billboard Reggae chart, and a loyal national fanbase.
A major touring act since 2008, Iration has performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Hangout, Outside Lands, Bottlerock, SunFest, Reggae Rise Up, and Cali Vibes Fest. Their high-energy performances have become a hallmark of the band, described by Billboard as creating “a little bit of paradise” each night. The band has officially entered a new phase of their career with new music on the horizon, new live production and a closer connection approach with their core fans.
Iration announces their 11th studio album ‘Where It All Began’ set to release May 1, 2026 on all digital platforms, CD and 180-gram double gram vinyl. Pre-save the new album now on Spotify and Apple Music. The album features 12 tracks with special appearances by Maoli, Kolohe Kai, Little Stranger and Kabaka Pyramid.
“For us, this record is about honoring the music that inspired us to start the band in the first place. It’s a nod to the records we grew up listening to, the islands that shaped us, and the feeling that made us want to make music together," said Micah Pueschel, Iration.
Iration’s early releases—featuring fan favorites like “Time Bomb” and “Falling,” both RIAA Gold-certified—established the foundation of their signature sound. Their music continues to receive national airplay on stations including KROQ (Los Angeles) and coverage from outlets such as American Songwriter, The Noise, and AllMusic.
“Iration will bring a laid-back, but a party-ready vibe to the stage when they perform at the Fair,” said Tom Martinez, CEO of Cal Expo and the California State Fair.
