Make the Most of Your Summer

Test your nerves at Crater Lake Zipline
Snapping on to a zipline over northern Klamath County is a breathtaking experience. There are nine ziplines, two sky bridges and two rappels on the Crater Lake Zipline course.

The fun doesn't end when you leave Crater Lake National Park. Head down the mountain to northern Klamath County where you can test your nerves on a zipline, ride your bike and even follow a canoe trail.
The summer season at Crater Lake National Park is short and very sweet. Take a look at all your options at the most beautiful destination in Oregon.
Get close to wild creatures at Wildlife Safari in Winston. This drive-through animal park is home to more than 500 wild and native animals and most of them roam freely across the 600-acre preserve. You can get up close and personally feed them.
Ride the Wild Rivers Coast Scenic Bileway
The Wild Rivers Coast Scenic Bikeway starts and ends in the coastal town of Port Orford. The 60-mile route leads you into the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and out to Cape Blanco State Park at the ocean's edge.

The Wild Rivers Coast Scenic Bikeway is not a typical cycling route. Imagine miles and miles of tarmac that take you deep into a national forest and then back to the crashing waves on the Oregon Coast. Look at the map and elevation chart to fashion a day's ride to suit your group's abilities and interests.
Look at all the choices. There's so much to do here. You can go active and ride the rapids. You can take it slow and enjoy great local wines at fine wineries such as Belle Fiore (right). No matter what you're looking for, there's something here for you.
You want to relax, not simply sleep. Take a look at our lodging choices throughout Southern Oregon and pick a place -- such as Running Y Ranch (left) -- that helps you get the most out of your visit.
