Masters Students:
You will order your cap and gown on the Commencement Checklist. You will purchase your cap and gown and get to keep it at the end of the ceremony.
Doctoral Students:
You have two options for cap and gown. If you plan to purchase your cap and gown, please do so now as it takes time to receive them.
Rent from the University:
You can rent your cap and gown directly from the University. This is convenient for many students, eliminating the need to purchase and store academic regalia long-term if you do not plan to use your cap and gown again. You will rent the cap and gown using the Commencement Checklist opening on Tuesday, February 10.
Purchase from Jostens:
Alternatively, you may purchase your cap and gown from Jostens. Purchasing your regalia offers the advantage of owning it for future academic and professional occasions. However, it's crucial to note that ordering your cap and gown from Jostens requires planning. The production and delivery process typically takes a couple of months, so placing your order well before the Commencement ceremony is imperative. You may order it here.
