Parents and families of graduating seniors, please continue to watch your email for important details and instructions in the coming weeks. We look forward to celebrating with many of you in May!

Summer Storage

The CC Office of Housing and Residential Experience is excited to announce a new partnership with Campus Storage.
Is your student looking for storage over the summer? Do you need someone else to do the moving? Campus Storage can provide moving materials, move packed items, store them over the summer, and return them to campus in August. Campus Storage will be on campus, picking up on May 23-24.
Please note: This contract is designed to streamline the process for students; students may still use any other companies they prefer. However, CC will not escort or allow other companies access to residence halls without the student present at the time of pick-up and delivery.

All students received an email with detailed information and instructions, a link to reserve a time, and a discount code. Please encourage your student to plan ahead and make their reservation as soon as possible if they are planning to store their belongings over summer break.

Summer Session: Important Billing Dates

Is your student enrolling in Summer Session?
For students who plan to participate in a summer course at CC, the billing schedule is noted below. For more information about summer semester, please visit the summer session webpage. For more information about accessing and paying bills, visit student accounts.

Summer semester billing statements will be available online (billing portal).

June 12—Second billing for summer semester (due date is July 3)
July 11—Third billing for summer semester (due date is Aug. 4)

Notes about Summer Housing: The summer housing application will open at the end of Block 7. Any student who is taking classes or remaining on campus for the summer will need to apply for summer housing on StarRez. All summer students will live in Mathias. There will be limited housing options for Block C.

Sophomore Jumpstart

Save the Date for Sophomore Jumpstart: Aug. 25, 2023

The second year marks an important transition in students’ college career. If you have a rising sophomore, we invite your student to register to participate in our Sophomore Jumpstart, taking place on Friday, Aug. 25
This program is designed to assist students in the transition from first year to second. We work with students to address the unique issues, opportunities, and challenges sophomores may face, as well as equip students with tools and strategies for achieving personal, professional, and academic success. In addition, we will provide participants with a schedule of programs over the fall semester that will continue to build on these themes.
At the end of this event, students will walk away with a personalized roadmap with initial goals for the coming year.
If you have a student returning to CC as a sophomore next August, please mark your calendars and encourage them to participate. Please stay tuned for additional information and registration later this spring!
