Dear Adrian College Tennis Alumni, Friends and Families,
My name is Teddy Morse and I am honored to introduce myself as the new Men’s and Women’s Tennis coach. After being a social worker and a high school tennis coach in the Toledo area, I am excited to lead this program to hopefully its first-ever MIAA titles in both programs’ history. With hard work on and off the court, aggressive recruiting and your continued support of the program there in no doubt that these goals can be achieved in the next 2-3 years.
During the fall preseason, both the men's and women's teams finished with a record of 4-2, and look to carry that success to the spring season. The spring season will start with a trip to the USTA Complex in Orlando, Florida, to complete with teams from all over the country. During the off season both teams have and will continue to work hard to achieve their fullest potential as tennis players, well as preparing themselves for their future profession. Since my arrival to AC, I have been very aggressively recruiting players from all over the Midwest, Florida, and international student-athletes, that will not only help us compete in a very tough conference, but also carry on the strong academic torch that Adrian College prides itself on.
Your continued support of the program on GivingTuseday is vital to both program success and my vision of the program which is being one of the top teams competing in the MIAA, as well as in the Midwest. Support will provide resources that will go a very long way to achieving success on the court. Those resources include:
6-8 Cases of tennis balls ($500)
Uninforms ($1,200)
Warm ups ($500)
Strings ($200)
Grips ( $100)
Meals ($200)
Invite fee ($150)
Tennis Bubble around 2- 4 of the outside courts ($6,000-$12,00)
Spring Break USTA Complex Orlando Florida pre year ($5,000)
Thanks again for your support of Bulldog Tennis. I am looking forward to meeting more of our alumni and supporters of the program at a tennis match in the near future!
Sincerely,
Teddy Morse
