3rd Annual Rise 'n Shine 5K Walk & Run

Saturday, August 10th, 2019

Join us for our 3rd annual summer race featuring a 5K walk and run along the Saginaw River in Bay City. All proceeds from the races will go directly to the Financial Assistance Program provided by the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA.

Rise 'N Shine Events:

Little Rays of Sun 1K Race

August 10th - 9 a.m.

This race is perfect for runners ages 3-12 years. All participants recieve a t-shirt and medal. Thank you to Copus Orthodontics for supporting this race for another year!

Kid's TRI 'N Shine Triathlon

August 10th - 9:30 a.m.

Kids ages 6-15 years will enjoy this run, bike, and swim event. All participants recieve a t-shirt and medal. Thank you to Jolt Credit Union and Bay City Morning Rotary for supporting this event!

FREE Family Fun Fest

August 10th - 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Our Family Fun Fest is FREE to the entire community and features balloon twisting, face painting, games, prizes, and TWO NEW Bounce Houses! Thank you to MidMichigan Health for sponsoring this great event! Please invite friends and family to this event as it is FREE for everyone!

Visiting this year are: A Family Affair Face Art & Balloon Twisting, Spin Art Painting from Studio 23, the Bay County Public Library System Bookmobile, TriCity Bubble Knockerballs, SVSU Rec Obstacle Course, and Lou E. Loon!
