» Country Bump Kin: The Brad & Carrie Show, otherwise known as a press conference prior to Wednesday's The 48th Annual CMA Awards, had industry insiders in stitches Sunday night (11/2). Many of the media attendees' questions focused on Carrie Underwood's pregnancy, including questions about names. "He thinks 'Ice' is a good name," Underwood said of husband Mike Fisher. "He doesn't mean it, he's just trying to get under my skin." Later, Brad Paisley deflected one of many queries about Underwood's physique. "I've got a little baby bump myself," he said. "Sympathy weight." Discussing the growing appeal of country music, Paisley pointed to the escapism he sees fans enjoying during his concerts. Underwood asserted the format's genuine music making over highly technical and produced music from other genres. "It's not a smoke show," she said. "It's just people getting up, doing what they do and doing it well." Check out Nashville's finest doing what they do in prime time on ABC-TV Wednesday (11/5).

» And the List Goes On: The latest round of performers and presenters for The 48th Annual CMA Awards were revealed yesterday (11/3). Hunter Hayes, Jennifer Nettles, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, the Doobie Brothers and Michael McDonald have been added to perform. In addition, Ashley Monroe has been added to Blake Shelton's performance and Lily Aldridge, Brantley Gilbert, Darius Rucker, Lee Brice, Brandy Clark, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Martina McBride and Kip Moore will all be presenters. Watch the show Nov. 5 at 8pm ET when it airs live from Nashville on ABC-TV. See the full lineup here.

» Ain't Goin' Down: Garth Brooks spent Halloween morning (10/31) in Nashville to give a small group of industry insiders a preview of his new album, Man Against Machine, out Nov. 11. The singer/songwriter sampled all 14 tracks at Sony Nashville's offices before performing an emotional, acoustic version of one of the songs, "Mom," written by Don Sampson and Wynn Varble. The new music ranges from the "Garth-channels-George-Strait" traditional country "Fish" to his favorite song on the album, the R&B-flavored last song, "Tacoma." Brooks says he didn't trust his pen for the new record  and that more than 7,000 songs were pitched to him. Only two Brooks-written songs appear. Other writers contributing to the project include Adam Wright, Melissa Peirce and Lee Thomas Miller. Brooks also revealed that all of his previous albums on GhostTunes have been re-mixed and re-mastered.

» Right On Target: Following in the footsteps of Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts' Joe Don Rooney, Luke Bryan is the latest country artist to get into the apparel business. He's teamed with Cabela's Inc. for the new 32 Bridge clothing line, which debuted Nov. 1 and is available exclusively at Cabela's. The men's and women's lines will target hunters, fishers and country music fans. "This brand is so dear to me and such a big part of who I am that seeing it come to life is so exciting," says Bryan. Why the name '32 Bridge'? The Georgia native took it from the Route 32 Bridge, which crosses over the Flint River and marks the border between Worth and Lee counties, where he was raised. See the line here.

» Say Cheese: Brad Paisley has extended his Country Nation World Tour through March 2015. He'll bring openers Parmalee and The Swon Brothers. The last leg kicks off Jan. 17 in Morgantown, WV. Tickets go on sale Nov. 7. Details and full list of dates here.

» Chunk Of Cole: Just after launching his Down Home Tour Nov. 13, Cole Swindell will release the Down Home Sessions EP Nov. 17, featuring songs he's written that didn't make it onto his 2014 self-titled debut album. "I'm always writing and I have lots of songs that I want my fans to hear," says Swindell. "As a songwriter that's what you want, but everything can't always make it onto your album so I decided the best way to release this music was to put together the Down Home Session EP. The start of my Down Home Tour seemed like the perfect time to put this collection together for the fans, not that I need an excuse to thank them for all the support they have given me over the past year." See Swindell's tour dates and the EP track listing here.

» In Case You Missed It: Blake Shelton appeared on CBS-TV's 60 Minutes Sunday night (11/2) and discussed everything from "bro country" to deer hunting. He even took correspondent Norah O'Donnell on a tour of his Ada, OK hometown. Watch here.

Hunter Hayes was the subject of CMT-TV's Inside Fame Saturday (11/1). Check it out here.

Little Big Town performed "Stay All Night" from their new album Pain Killer last Thursday (10/30) on NBC-TV's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Watch The Roots help 'em out here.
