Database Highlight: Creativebug |
Creativebug is one of our favorite databases. Library patrons can access thousands of art and craft classes for free with their library card. They can also download patterns, recipes, and printables. New content is added monthly, so there's always something new to create.
Our Book Buzz Coordinator Rae Schumann, used Creativebug to crochet those cute doughnuts.
"I love the different projects you can find in Creativebug," she says. "Anytime I need a new project I can scroll through the tutorials and discover new things to spark my creativity.
Doing new projects can seem a bit overwhelming at times, but with Creativebug you can find projects for every level from beginner to advanced with detailed instructions. There are amazing ideas that you can use for your personal projects or programs in your library."

Program for the Blind & Visually Impaired |
The volunteer program for our recording studio is growing! We now have 30 volunteers, including two Spanish speakers.
Our satellite recording studio at Southern Utah University is up and running. They're sending us great content for our patrons.
We're always looking for more volunteers to record and edit books for our blind patrons.
