Dear Dow Bay Area Family YMCA Members,
Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced today that the Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order has been extended until at least May 15th. We miss all of our members and guests every single day, but your safety and well-being is our highest priority. In your best interest, we will not draft any dues while the building remains closed. If you recall, we credited 50% of your membership dues to your YMCA account in March and we are not pulling any membership dues in April or May.
We believe this decision is the most sound option for our members at this time. Even though our building is closed to our members and guests, we are still doing the work of our Mission and Cause. Since our building has closed on March 16th, we have distributed over 14,000 meals to the youth in our community, and 360 Emergency Food Boxes to families in need. Will you help us? You can make a tax-deductible donation to help us continue to do the work that our community needs.
Many of our members have chosen to donate their membership dues already, and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity. We are asking those members who can afford to do so to consider donating their dues or a portion of their membership dues to our cause at this time. All donations are graciously accepted.
If you would like to speak with someone from Member Service, please call us at 989.895.8596 Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm or Saturdays from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
