Johnny Gibson’s to Transform Into Food Hall
Johnny Gibson’s Downtown Market has officially closed, but an exciting transformation is underway! The space at 11 S. Sixth Avenue will reopen in fall 2025 as Gibson’s Food Hall & Market, featuring a vibrant mix of four local food vendors, expanded dining areas, and a bodega-style grocery section. The project will also include a new HighWire craft cocktail bar and a speakeasy-style bar in the adjacent/former Crescent Smoke Shop space.
This redevelopment, led by owners of HighWire Tucson, aims to create a one-stop destination for dining, shopping, and entertainment, bringing fresh energy to this prime space downtown. Watch this KGUN 9 News Story for more.
