July is normally a cold and rainy month, but we have been very fortunate this year to experience some rather pleasant sunny days in between.

We would like to call on all the residents in our lovely village to please support our restaurants in this difficult time.

It would be heart breaking to see more of them closing permanently due to the Covid-19 lockdowns.

A message from Charlie Bowler:

"It is with great sadness that I advise Home Restaurant and Bar has permanently closed after trading for 21 years in Harfield Village.

We endeavoured to remain “afloat” despite all the COVID 19 restrictions but the affect was unfortunately too great for the business to survive.

I would like to thank each and every one who were loyal and supported me over the many years. I am most grateful for your patronage, friendship and support."

It is no secret that many businesses, especially those in the hospitality industry, have been under extreme strain throughout the past year especially due to the governments various lockdowns, curfews, smoking and liquor bans.

We at Norgarb Properties and Harfield Village Online, know that in times like these there will always be opportunities and it is our hope that Charlie and his staff are blessed in their next chapter. We wish them all of the best in their future endeavours.
