| A Charco Press Novel Starring Jennifer Lawrence . . .
As reported in Variety on August 19, director Lynne Ramsay is working with actress Jennifer Lawrence on a film adaptation of Ariana Harwicz’s acclaimed novel Die, My Love, translated by Carolina Orloff and Sarah Moses. “[Lawrence] just really responded to the material, which is hardcore in some ways,” says the You Were Never Really Here director, who first received the novel from Lawrence. “It’s about postnatal depression and bipolar [disorder]. . . . But it’s funny as well. Well, I’ve made it funny. I think I’ve made it funny. I hope I’ve made it funny.”
