The 2022 National Convention is Coming!

Need-to-Know Info

Take note: the 2022 National Convention is one week later than normal: July 24-27. Make your plans to attend as we gather in Birmingham.

Hotel Reservations

Open MONDAY

Reservations for the two convention hotels (both connected to the convention center) can be made beginning Monday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m. CT. Reservation links will be available at https://nafwb.org/convention/.

Details for each hotel can be found on the Convention Housing Form.

Impact Birmingham

This year's impact project will look a bit different than past years, as we plan to bless the homeless population in Birmingham with "care kits" on Saturday, July 23.

Whether or not you can attend Impact Birmingham in person, there are ways you can get involved now. Visit the Impact Birmingham website for a list of items you can assemble and package to be distributed.

If you or your group can be involved with Impact in person that Saturday, register at the Impact Birmingham website and plan to join us as we demonstrate the love of Christ in action. We'll even give you a FREE t-shirt for participating.

News from Departments

Announcing the 2022 Grant Recipients

We announced in December of 2021 that the board would be increasing the amount of our grant pool from $500,000 a year to $750,000. In April, our board awarded grants to 23 ministries! To see the list of recipients, visit our Facebook Page: Free Will Baptist Foundation | Facebook.

NAM Holds Pastor's Boot Camp

North America Ministries hosted fifteen pastors and leaders at its recent Pastor's Boot Camp May 2-3. NAM hosts this FREE training for pastors each spring and fall at the FWB National Offices.

The next boot camp is scheduled for October 2022. If you are interested in attending a future boot camp, contact NAM at 877-767-7674 or nam@nafwb.org.

Welch Holds Commencement Exercises

Welch College held its 2022 Commencement Friday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the Student Activities Center.

D6 Podcast

From the team at D6, this podcast is focused on building an excellent family ministry. Filled with useful tips and great interviews, we help ministry leaders and parents take practical steps to disciple families. LISTEN HERE

Laughter & Latté

WNAC's Laughter & Latté event will be held Monday night, July 25, at 8:30 p.m. in the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex. The event will include an ice cream sundae bar, coffee, entertainment, and fellowship.

Tickets for the event can be purchased through Convention Pre-Registration. You can save $5 per ticket by ordering them in advance.

Week 19 of 52 Weeks of Prayer

98% of the population in Pakistan is unreached. We are partnering with Pakistan FWBs to help them with leadership training, discipleship materials, Bible translation projects, and the construction of a much-needed multi-purpose building that will be used for a variety of ministries.
