Applications must clearly articulate a project’s value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both. NEH invites research applications from scholars in all disciplines, and it encourages submissions from independent scholars and junior scholars.

NSF Strengthening American Infrastructure: Deadline: April 17
|
This NSF solicitation offers support for research projects that will bring together experts from one or more of the social, behavioral and economic (SBE) science disciplines with experts across other scientific and engineering disciplines to support substantial and potentially pathbreaking and use-inspired fundamental research that will help to strengthen American infrastructure. Proposals must bring deep leadership expertise in at least one SBE program area, and provide details on how such SBE disciplinary expertise and leadership will contribute to strengthening American infrastructure. Proposals must also bring relevant expertise in the focal infrastructure itself.

Wellness Opportunities: Take Back the Night
|
Take Back the Night is a long-standing tradition at Georgia Tech and beyond, where survivors of sexual and relationship harm speak out by sharing personal experiences and holding a candlelight vigil to honor all victims and survivors. Those who would like to anonymously submit their stories can fill out this form before by March 30. The event is open to the entire Georgia Tech community and includes a resource fair and call to action with a short march through campus. This year’s annual Take Back the Night event is Monday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the grove adjacent to the Divine Nine Plaza.

Georgia Tech is expanding its support for grad students through a new child care tuition assistance program, students can apply for additional aid at The Children's Campus @ Georgia Tech, which already offers a 10% tuition discount for students and employees.
