Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW) is nationally celebrated during the first week of April on campuses all over the U.S. This year, Georgia Tech plans to show #GRADitude for our graduate students from April 3-7 with a week full of engaging opportunities with YOU in mind. With a fun and interactive activities planned, get ready to "take a break" and enjoy the week. These initiatives are sponsored by the Graduate Resource and Information Network (GRIN). This year's GSAW events and activities will provide opportunities to engage, network, and have some fun with other grad students and faculty/staff who want to celebrate you!

International TA Forges New Beginnings

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is pleased to recognize this year’s cohort of International TA Liaisons for CTL. This CTL initiative offers experienced international graduate teaching assistants (ITAs) a significant leadership role in their colleges and the opportunity to create a support network among their peers.

Executive MBA Program Offers New Leadership Academy

The Executive MBA program at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business provides seasoned executives with the opportunity to expand their skills and leadership capabilities by offering a thorough curriculum, stellar career services, and the ability to broaden their professional outreach through networking opportunities.
Aside from building a first-rate MBA experience, the Executive MBA team is dedicated to producing additional programs to engage and grow confident leaders primed to succeed in their current and future careers.

Featured Opportunity: Apply today to be a GT6000 Grad Group Leader by April 2
|
The Office of Graduate Education is seeking motivated graduate students (both master’s and Ph.D.) to work as compensated Group Leaders for the GT 6000 (Grad Groups) program from June 2023 through October 2023. An information session with food and drinks will be held on Tuesday, March 28, at 5 p.m. in the Cypress Theatre in the John Lewis Student Center. The deadline to apply is April 2.

Applications open for the JP Morgan Ph.D. Fellowship
|
The JP Morgan Ph.D. Fellowship Program is Intended to support novel and impactful thesis work of Ph.D. students and enables opportunities for Ph.D. students to engage with research professionals at JPMC. This fellowship includes a yearly award that partially supports tuition and stipend. The deadline for Non-CoC students is Friday, March 17.

The Robert "Bob" Moses Scholarship is a National scholarship opportunity designed to support a graduate student from an underrepresented group who is pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree in mathematics education or a STEM discipline. Save the Date: Attend Graduate Student Association's next Town Hall Meeting
|
The Graduate Student Government Association (GSGA) has been working on a Graduate Student Bill of Rights. Plan to attend GSGA's town hall meeting in Smithgall (The Flag Building) room 117 next Tuesday, March 14th at 11 am to weigh in on current issues affecting graduate students. Grad students and faculty alike are requested to join and speak out during each town hall. The Graduate Student Bill of Rights represents a crucial step in aiding the mental health, well-being, and overall graduate experience at Georgia Tech.
