The Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Patrol Investigations Unit is actively investigating two hate/bias vandalism incidents that occurred in 2022 and is asking the community for help. Federation and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington have jointly funded a reward in the amount of $5,000 ($2,500 per incident) for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) who vandalized the Bethesda Trolley Trail and Walt Whitman High School with antisemitic graffiti.
