Spring Break Trips Send CAC Students Across the Globe

There is incredible value in learning new things, experiencing new places and talking to new people. Each year, CAC secondary students are given the opportunity to do all three of those things through school-sponsored spring break trips. This year, students of all ages traveled across the globe on three trips – Europe (London, Paris, Rome), Spain and Washington D.C.
Each trip offered unique moments of growth, educational opportunities and memories that will not soon be forgotten.
In this article, we talk with students who attended each trip to find out what they learned, what they saw and how much fun they had!

Kevin and Hollye Corbell
Q&A with CAC alumni, former PFTA presidents and Volunteer of the Year Award recipients.
1. Tell us about you and your family!
My husband Kevin and I met in the fall of 2000 and married in the summer of 2002. We are both former CAC alumni and members of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. We currently live in Maumelle and have one son, Hunter, who is currently a senior at CAC and plans to attend Harding in the fall. Hunter has kept us very busy over the years traveling to all of his football, basketball and baseball games.
    2. What types of things do you enjoy doing together as a family?
Some of our best family memories are from the many sporting events we have traveled to over the years.  We feel very blessed that we have been able to visit so many exciting places. Our family loves to travel!
      3. How long have you both been a part of the CAC family?
We have been a part of the CAC family for a combined 24 years.

April 11, 2017. Magician Justin Flom teaches CAC student Ross Mounts how to make a bandana turn into an egg at the annual spring event, An Evening at CAC. The night was filled with laughter and fellowship - it was a great success! Thanks to all who attended, volunteered and served!
"I consider it an honor to be a member of the CAC family. Not only does this school provide an exceptional education, but also supports our attempt to mold and shape the character of our children. I believe it takes a village to raise children and CAC has definitely become  a part of ours."

        CAC Parent
