According to the calendar, spring is officially here, even if it doesn’t quite feel like it yet. Spring semester always seems to pass quickly as we celebrate both spring break and Easter break.  When classes resume on the Tuesday following Easter break, only a month remains before final exams.  During this time, your student may need to complete a few academic tasks. 

Summer/fall registration is already open for juniors and seniors, and it will open for sophomores and freshmen next week.  Please check in with your student to make sure he/she has already met with an academic advisor and selected courses for summer and/or fall.  If your student is a residential student, our room draw event for next year will be held Thursday, April 12.  Your student must be registered for fall semester to be eligible for “first dibs” on room assignments for next year.
 
As the semester winds down, keep in mind your student might be feeling stressed trying to complete writing papers, working on projects, and preparing for tests.  Please know there are many support systems in place all across campus.  Encourage your student to reach out if he/she needs anything, as we are here to support his/her success.

The first annual Women Who Make a Difference Tea was a huge success.  This event allows those in the Lourdes community to honor a woman who made a difference in some aspect of their life.  Students Willie Eaton, Joshua Hoffman, and Audrey Towler were among those joining in the celebration yesterday.
