Three New Social Media Resources for Local Programs
We are so excited to share three new social media resources we developed to assist local CASA programs with content strategy and implementation: the Social Media Guidebook, the Social Media Content Guide and the Social Media Content Bank.
The Social Media Guidebook serves as a comprehensive reference, outlining platform-specific best practices, branding guidelines, tone of voice and posting strategies. Complementing this, the Social Media Content Guide provides practical tips and examples for crafting engaging posts, tailoring messaging to different audiences and utilizing multimedia effectively. Finally, the Social Media Content Bank (click here for video tutorial) offers a centralized repository of customizable graphics, captions, hashtags and templates, making it easier for you to access and share ready-to-use content. Together, these tools streamline social media efforts and promote cohesive, impactful communication.
PS - Members of our External Relations team will hold office hours on October 7 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and October 15 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. to help answer questions and talk about best practices. Find the Zoom links for the office hours in the link below.

Printing Options with Mimeo Marketplace
Did you know that many of Texas CASA produced guidebooks and materials are available for local CASA programs to print? Mimeo Marketplace is our online printing partner for ordering pre-made materials, such as the most recently updated August 2025 Texas CASA Pre-Service Volunteer Manual and Facilitator Guide.
Please keep in mind that while Texas CASA has added our materials to the marketplace, we are not responsible for the fulfillment of the order. Also, all materials are listed at value – Texas CASA does not receive any compensation for the materials. Should any issues arise please contact help@marketplace.mimeo.com. Additionally, to have the sales tax removed from your order and future orders, please contact corporateaccounts@mimeo.com, and they will add your account to their tax-exempt category.
The marketplace is now password-protected and can be accessed using the link and password listed below.

10 Years of Impact – Top 10 Lessons Learned
This year marks a decade of CFE transforming how Texas engages children and families in the child welfare system. Over the past 10 years, we've learned that connection matters, not just in theory but in everyday practice. Our first poster in the “Top 10” series reflects on the most powerful takeaways from across the state. View the poster here.
From embedding family meetings into the heart of casework to celebrating even the smallest victories, these lessons show how CFE has shifted mindsets and outcomes. The tools aren’t just for children. They’re for parents, extended family, and professionals, too. Our statewide journey has been grounded in one powerful truth: every child deserves to be connected.
