Hi All,
I hope you are enjoying the warmer spring weather. It is great to see the creative programming happening in your 4-H clubs as we move forward with some in-person programs. If you are planning a program, remember to submit a program plan; they must be and approved. As you can imagine, I have been submitting (on behalf of 4-H leaders) about 3 per day, so if the same is happening across the state, it takes a little more time for them to be read and reviewed at the state level; so try to do it as soon as possible.
I truly appreciate all of the great ideas, and out-of-the-box thinking that volunteers did over the last year of Covid. The state 4-H program leader mentioned that Wisconsin 4-H had approximately 1,500 programs approved over the last year and no issues related to Covid following all of those meetings. Way to go for all your work as volunteers and 4-H families to help keep us healthy!
We are taking a break next week from the Friday Focus, but will be back with a new edition on April 9. The Extension Dodge County office and Dodge County Administration Building will be closed on Friday, April 2nd.
