“Finding My New Normal”

As part of De-stress Week, author and therapist Alexis Williams ’16 presents “Finding My New Normal—Coping with Tests, Stress, and COVID-19” tonight at 6:00 via Zoom. She’ll discuss her life and writing, as well as self-care, balancing schoolwork and home life, and the need to respect one another.

11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Zoom. Talk about life and career goals with the Career and Professional Development Center staff.
9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Schedule an appointment with a therapy dog as part of De-stress Week.
3:00–4:30 p.m., Zoom. This Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement discussion tackles a different topic every two weeks.
5:00–6:00 p.m., YouTube. Along with the IUP Trombone Ensemble, members will perform solo and chamber works in this live-streamed event.
7:00–9:00 p.m., YouTube. This prerecorded performance will feature trumpet music in groups of 4 to 20.
8:00–9:00 p.m., YouTube. Students will perform duets from shows including Into the Woods, Little Women, and Candide during this live-streamed event.
8:00–10:00 p.m., Swank online portal. STATIC presents this 2018 documentary on Fred Rogers, host of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 689 Philadelphia Street. Purchase laser-cut paper packages created by 3-D Design students. Proceeds benefit the Student Assistance Fund.
2:00–5:00 p.m., University Museum. Works include sculpture by Alexander Archipenko, pottery by Maria Montoya Poveka Martinez, and paintings by Louise Pershing and Frank Herbert Mason. 
8:00–11:00 p.m., Folger Hall. Hang out, play games, relax with friends—every Friday night.
