Commencement for the Class of 2026
|
We are excited to celebrate the achievements of our 2026 graduates at the commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the Alumni Field House. The ceremony will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. On behalf of President Raymond, Haverford’s faculty, and the entire community, we are looking forward to welcoming you to campus for this momentous event.
|
Tickets & Regalia: Required for guests 10 years of age and older; each graduate is guaranteed up to six tickets. The College will provide, at no cost to the student, a cap, gown, and tassel. Each student can keep their cap and tassel, but as part of an effort to support sustainability and keep costs low for graduates, the College reuses gowns.
Your graduate has been emailed a survey related to regalia, ticketing, and other information needed to make the commencement ceremony a joyous and safe event.
Lodging and Dining: Due to other commencements and regional events, Commencement weekend is expected to be busy. Families planning to attend are encouraged to reserve lodging and make dining plans early, as the ceremony concludes around lunchtime.
Pre-orders for Flowers: Celebrate commencement with a beautiful spring bouquet from the Haverford Women’s Volleyball team! Bouquets are $30 each, with pre-orders accepted through Thursday, May 14. Bouquets can be picked up on commencement day from 8:30 a.m. until the procession begins at the commencement venue. Commencement Flowers pre-order →
Keepsakes and Announcements: Students and families who wish to purchase announcements, class rings, diploma frames, and other keepsakes may do so through the College Bookstore.
