July 1 Today is the first day of the 2025-26 fiscal year and academic year. Pray that the right amount of resources and the right number of students arrive at Sterling this year.
2 There are many key positions open at Sterling College. Pray that the Lord brings the right people to fill those positions.
3 Lift up President Scott Rich and his wife, Kathy. Pray for joy, peace, wisdom, and a deep desire to serve the Sterling College community.
4 Happy Independence Day! Ask the Lord to bless and guide our government officials.
5 Pray for those in our society who are "unseen", neglected, lonely, and in need.
6 Scripture focus: Jeremiah 23:24 "Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord."
7 May all alumni and friends of Sterling College be filled with true joy today.
8 Students begin moving back into residence halls one month from today. Pray that all the preparations needed to provide students with an exceptional Sterling experience will be completed on time for their arrival.
9 Sterling has been blessed with much needed rain in the past several weeks. We are grateful to the Lord for this moisture, but it has also revealed several leaks in campus roofs. Pray that the funds needed to fix these leaks are provided.
10 Pray for all online and master's level students taking classes for Sterling College this summer.
11 Many Sterling students are working demanding jobs this summer. Pray that in all that they do, they will do it for the glory of God.
12 Pray for the Sterling College maintenance team: housekeepers, grounds crew, and facilities crew. They work hard all year long and often go unacknowledged in their efforts. As the Lord to richly bless them all.
13 Scripture focus: Psalm 121:7-8 "The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
14 Many staff members are taking much-needed vacations during the month of July. Ask the Lord to bring rest and renewal to them and their families.
15 Some high school students and transfer students still have not made their decision as to where to attend college next month. Pray that the Lord would direct their choices that they would be where He wants them.
16 Pray that employees who are looking to find other opportunities would be guided clearly by God's Holy Spirit.
17 Pray for wisdom and discernment for the Sterling College Board of Trustees.
18 Pray for SC alumni who currently serve in the Armed Forces. May they be a source of Christ-like light to those whom which they serve.
19 Pray for current Sterling students who have gotten married or will be married this summer. May their marriages honor the Lord.
20 Scripture focus: Psalm 91:9 "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."
21 Many SC alumni serve fulltime in local churches across the country and around the world. Pray that they exemplify Christ and serve Him well.
22 The President's Cabinet meets this morning. Ask the Lord to be present in that meeting and guide the conversation and decisions.
23 Praise and thank God for each and every person who supports the work and mission of Sterling College with their financial gifts.
24 Lift up all Sterling College coaches as they prepare for student-athletes who will be arriving on campus in just a couple weeks.
25 Pray for all the marriages of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends.
26 Thank God for His enduring love, gracious mercy, and abundant grace.

30 As the summer break winds down and the fall semester is days away, thank God for His faithfulness to Sterling College for 138 years.
