MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER MISSION TRIP!

This year’s Middle School Summer Mission Trip is with TeamEffort Missions in Jacksonville, FL! There, we will work to help improve the living conditions of residents in a community still in disaster recovery.

Dates: July 7 – 13, 2019
Cost: $450 ($100 Deposit due at time of registration)
Registration will continute until SUNDAY, MAY 19

Scholarships are available for these trips by completing a scholarship form. Please send the completed form to Brandon Sangster no later than May 1.

SUMMER CAMP

The camping ministry of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church has a long tradition of Christ-centered camping experiences that transform the lives of young people. This ministry has centered around the Warren W. Willis Camp facilities in Fruitland Park. Learn more at warrenwilliscamp.org.

St. Luke's Week at Camp this summer will be June 24-29. Registration is open on the Warren Willis website now. Register now before all the spots are filled. (Be sure to select Week 3 - June 24-29)

There are scholarships available. St. Luke’s Scholarships will be available through Sunday, May 19.

NEED A RIDE TO CAMP?

Students going to Warren Willis Camp Week 3 are invited to ride the bus to and from camp together! Make sure your student(s) are at St. Luke’s by 12:00PM on Monday, June 24 for a pizza lunch and parent goodbyes! We will be leaving St. Luke’s at 1:00 p.m., arriving back at the church on Saturday, June 29 around 11:00 a.m. The cost will be $40.

SERVICE OPPORTUNIES

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNI-TEA

Join the St. Luke’s United Methodist Women at their annual Ladies’ Tea and Boutique in Founder’s Hall on Saturday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m.! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO SERVE AND WILL RECIEVE COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS! Please arrive at 12:00 p.m. and plan to stay until 4:00 p.m.

Youth can receive community service by serving with our summer camps.

Volunteer Registration is for youth that are going into 7th-12th Grade in the Fall of 2019 and Adults.

VBS volunteering will be June 17-21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Youth can receive up to 22 hours of community service.

Pre School Summer Camp Volunteers: Volunteering will be July 8-12 and/or July 15-19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Youth must be going into 7th Grade or higher in the Fall of 2019.

St. Luke's Camp Volunteers: Volunteering will be July 8-12 and/or July 15-19 and/or July 22-26 from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Youth must be going into 7th Grade or higher in the Fall of 2019.

Donations can be dropped off at the front office or the Youth Center all week.
