| A Silly Story for Kindergarteners in the New York Times Book Review
On August 30, Klara Persson’s Mine!: A Story of Not Sharing, illustrated by Charlotte Ramel and translated by Nichola Smalley, was featured in the New York Times Book Review as a recommended book for kids starting kindergarten. “Humor can be a great antidote for didacticism,” writes children’s book author and librarian Travis Jonker in the piece, “and this Swedish import about the eternal challenge of sharing will have children (and grown-ups) laughing at the ridiculousness of taking selfishness to the extreme. . . . Readers will recognize the silliness of keeping everything to oneself.”
