Fight the New Drug: Rescheduled for Feb. 17 |
Fight the New Drug has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 7 PM in the Toot Global Learning Center Atrium and is open to all students, faculty, and staff. This secular organization will present on the impacts of the pornography industry, exploring its effects on individuals, relationships, and society through research, statistics, and personal stories. Don’t miss this engaging and informative event. Students, free Chick‑fil‑A will be available for the first 150 attendees.

Girls Night Out Pink Game, Feb. 19 |
Mark your calendars for Thursday, Feb. 19, at 5:30 PM as Alumni Arena turns pink for our first annual “Girls Night Out Pink Game!” In celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Walsh’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting a Pink Out to cheer on the Walsh Women’s Basketball team. Grab your pink apparel, connect with our female athletes pregame, and help cheer the Cavs to victory! The Women’s Basketball team will sign autographs after the game, and all are welcome.

Gentlemen, looking for a meaningful break from the routine? Join fellow Cavaliers for The Father’s House Men’s Retreat 2026, a weekend focused on fellowship, faith, and genuine friendship. Held Friday, Feb. 20 to Saturday, Feb. 21, at Camp Buckeye, this retreat invites men to step away from campus life and deepen their faith alongside others. Walsh University Research Featured in National Elite Running Article |
Walsh University is part of the national conversation on the future of elite distance running. Research highlighted in a recent article on the rise of sub-four-minute miles originated from an Honors thesis project by Walsh competitive runner Lukas Keverkamp, an Exercise Science graduate now pursuing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Walsh. Supported by faculty advisor Dr. Kelsey Scanlon and Walsh student‑athletes, the work explores performance effects related to endurance supplements and continues to elevate Walsh’s presence in national discussions across collegiate track and field. | Read More Online

Kim Fuller joined Walsh University on Feb. 2 as a Professional Assistant Professor of Education, serving in a dual role with the P-5 Elementary and Intervention Specialist Education programs. She brings valuable experience from her previous role as Director of Education at Wings of Change Therapy, Inc., and we are excited to welcome her to the Walsh community.

Brianna Birkle is making her mark in the world of art conservation. The Walsh University Museum Studies student was featured working behind the scenes in a recent Fox 8 New Day Cleveland segment highlighting ICA Art Conservation in Cleveland. Brianna, who has been interning with the regional art conservation organization for three years, can be seen throughout the interview gaining hands-on experience in the field. She plans to continue her journey by pursuing graduate studies in conservation. Watch the Video
