Clemson University is conducting a comprehensive review of all University memberships and partnerships with external organizations. The purpose of this review is to identify any memberships or partnerships that may, in practice or policy, violate Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

- The Office of General Counsel (OGC) is coordinating this institutional review with support from the Office of Institutional Excellence. This includes—but is not limited to—all University-held memberships in professional, academic, or other external organizations.

- Award-winning Greenville band Brother Oliver will play a free show tonight at 7 p.m. as part of the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts' Music Sessions series at the Brooks Theatre.

This week’s Fiercely Forward Friday spotlight is Fermin Redondo, whose work in the College of Science has taken him from circuits in the lab to the upper atmosphere with NASA. Through his research, presentations, and collaborations, Redondo advances knowledge in space weather while mentoring the next generation of scientists. By demonstrating what’s possible when curiosity meets dedication, he inspires young minds across South Carolina to reach for the stars.

- Thank you to all faculty, staff and students for participating in E-Learning Day. The preliminary data shows a high level of participation with a 277 percent increase in Zoom minutes from a typical Monday. High participation in this test increases our ability to bounce back should instruction be interrupted. More information about Monday's E-Learning Day and future instances will be shared when available.

Beginning Monday, November 10, contractors will replace the concrete sidewalk outside of the southwest corner of Godfrey Hall with a new ADA-compliant pathway. The ground level entrance to Godfrey in this area will also be temporarily closed during this two-week project, weather permitting.

The Center for Student Leadership and Engagement is seeking presenters for the 2026 Women in Leadership Conference. The conference will take place in-person at the Hendrix Student Center on Saturday, February 28, 2026, and will encompass the theme “Evolve. Elevate. Empower”. Applications are open until November 17.
