Spring ahead
Spring registration is nearly a wrap. If you haven't registered yet, there's still time to squeeze you in. We have both in-person and virtual seats waiting just for you.
Don't delay; registration closes at midnight on Tuesday, March 26. Classes begin on April 1. View our catalog. Not yet receiving it by mail? Request a copy.
While late registrations can be accepted by phone (it's too late to mail them), the few days between the close of registration and the start of classes are spent preparing and distributing class lists and student schedules. These will arrive via email by the end of next week.
Visit our website's home page to find our classes and events, instructor bios, FAQs, registration instructions, opportunities to teach for ILR, and so much more.
Already registered? Go to the head of the class! Prior to opening day, watch your email for your student schedule and virtual class links, if any, to arrive.
How to register
Easy peasy image

Easy peasy

Your $145 registration fee allows you to choose as many classes as you would like. You might want to bring a larger plate to this buffet. For our non-members, we have 10 "à la carte" Special Events available this semestermany are free!
We offer three convenient ways to register: online, by mail, or in person. Opting for online registration is the quickest way to secure your seat in each class. It's a simple process that takes only a few minutes and doesn't require any passwords. Once you try online registration, you'll appreciate its convenience. To register online, use the "Register Now" button below; to register by mail or in person, please refer to our catalog or visit our website for our registration forms.
Remember, all ILR courses will be held in local (Oxford) time.

The hunt is on

For members attending in-person classes, you are required to wear your lanyard and name tag. The search is on! The great lanyard hunt of 2024 begins. You certainly know exactly where to find it. Right? If the junk drawer and every other "secure" place fails to reveal yours, feel free to email ILR for a replacement.

Wickenden Lecture

Something special is planned for this year's Comparative Religion department’s Wickenden Lecture. Instead of one speaker, we're bringing two: Megan Goodwin and Ilyse Morgenstein Fuerst, who have a nationally recognized podcast called Keeping It 101: A Killjoy's Introduction to Religion. Instead of giving a traditional lecture, they're coming to Miami to make a live recording of an episode of their podcast, with audience participation.
"Calendars and Privilege: How Race and Religion Take Your Time (And What They're Doing with It)"
Tuesday, April 2, 4:30-6:00
Donald W. Fritz Pavilion, Armstrong Student Center
Professors Megan Goodwin and Ilyse Morgenstein Fuerst invite you to join a silly-smart discussion about how the ways we measure time are not neutral, as they may seem but tell us important things about the making of race, religion, and the world we share.
