Mathematical sciences professor Eliza Gallagher is the latest winner of the Clemson Honors College's Douglas W. Bradbury Award. The award recognizes a faculty member who has made sustained and meaningful contributions to the Honors College and its students.

The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) has issued a Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) Recreational Watch for portions of Lake Hartwell. While affected areas are not currently near the main campus, SCDES recommends caution as officials continue to monitor conditions throughout the lake.

The Clemson University Forest has launched the Clemson University Forest Data Hub, a new resource bringing together decades of forest data, mapping tools and management resources to expand research, improve recreation, and encourage public stewardship.

Physics major and Honors College student Drew Hodges recently became one of 79 undergraduate students nationwide to earn a 2026 Astronaut Scholarship. The scholarship provides $15,000 in financial support, access to industry mentors and an opportunity for Hodges to present his research at the foundation’s national symposium in Houston this summer.
