Dear Carnegie community,

Heeding the advice of medical and community leaders about the coronavirus, the Carnegie Center will close to the public at 2 pm on Saturday, March 14, and will remain closed through at least Saturday, April 4. All programs, classes, and events will be canceled.

The Carnegie staff will remain available by phone and email throughout this time period to answer your questions and take registrations for future classes and the Books-in-Progress Conference (June 5-7). You may also register on our website, www.carnegiecenterlex.org. If you register for a class or event that is canceled later, you will receive a full refund.

However long our building is closed, it is temporary. When we re-open, we will welcome you back as a student, instructor, tutor, volunteer, or someone who just likes to hang out at the Old Library. We’ll let you know as soon as we have a firm re-opening date.

Until then, thank you for your understanding, and stay safe!

 Neil
