Q:  How would you describe your senior year of high school?
A:  An extremely memorable one, and not just because of COVID-19. It was an eventful year filled with friendship, sports, and academics. I picked up journaling and really tried to focus on becoming a better person.

Q:  What are a few of your interests?
A:  Outdoor activities! I love camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, and kayaking. I also love playing sports. In high school, I ran cross-country, played basketball, and I was a goalkeeper for the soccer team.

Q:  Why Roanoke?
A:  I chose Roanoke College because I loved the small community feel, but it's not too small! I really wanted to be in the mountains, and Roanoke is in a gorgeous area.

Q:  What do you hope to accomplish during your time at Roanoke?
A:   I want to find my true passion in life and be prepared to pursue my master’s degree once I graduate. I look forward to having the college experience and making lifelong friends.

Today I hope you will support students like Hannah who are writing the next chapter of their story here at Roanoke College. Please consider making a gift to the Roanoke Fund because your gift will make a profound impact in the lives of Roanoke students. Thank you!
