Nineteen years ago, when MilkWorks began, I was a sophomore in college and actively avoiding the science building with my political science and history majors. I was a competitive debater but when we discussed health care, or even women’s health care, breastfeeding was never a topic....

Childhood Family Fair
Families with young children are invited to attend afree Early Childhood Family Fairat Gateway Mall on Sunday, February 16 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm!The fair is a project of Lincoln Early Childhood Network, which was created to support the Prosper Lincoln Early Childhood Goal of nurturing every child on the path to success. MilkWorks will be there, so come stop by!

Share the LOVE thisValentines Day!
Looking for a meaningful gift to give your loved ones this year? Share The Love is a program offered by Community Services Fund of Nebraska that allows you to donate $25 or $50 to a CSF charity in honor of a special person in your life. The recipient will recieve a card notifying them of the donation and a small box of Bakers chocolates for Valentine's Day.
P.S-Pets are included (as if we could ever forget)! As part of Share The Love, select dog and cat treats, provided by Pet Central Station, will be given in lui of chocolates!

Group Support
Research has shown that women who participate in groups with other mothers tend adjust more positively to motherhood. MilkWorks offers moms group every week to support you through all parts of your journey. There is no fee to attend, older siblings are welcome, and you do not need to register. Join us!
