COLLEGE SPORTS PARENT/ATHLETE COMPLIANCE MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
For anyone interested in playing college sports, Trevor Wright, Senior Director of Compliance, from the University of Cincinnati Athletics Compliance office will be at Mason on Wednesday night, November 20 for a Parent/Athlete meeting at 7:00pm in the High School Harvard Room. This presentation will be covering New Rules for the 25-26 school year, NCAA Recruiting, Initial Eligibility requirements for prospective student-athletes, National Letters of Intent, & Financial Aid.

BOYS XC AT DISTRICT OCTOBER 19TH
The recent GMC Champion Comets Boys will have next weekend off to train for the District Championships in two weeks back at VOA Park. Mason Boys XC will be seeking their 16th overall District Title in the past 17 years.

GIRLS XC AT DISTRICT OCTOBER 19TH
The 2024 District Championships will be held on Saturday, October 19th at Voice of America Park. The GMC Champion Mason Girls will be seeking their 6th consecutive District Title and 17th overall in program history as a Division 1 team.

MASON FOOTBALL HOSTS COLERAIN TONIGHT!
The Comets (3-4, 3-3) will host Colerain (0-7, 0-6) this Friday. The Cardinals fell to Lakota East last week 36-31.

GMC CHAMPS PLAY REGULAR-SEASON FINALE
The Comets (ranked #11), now 12-0-3 overall and 9-0-0 in the GMC, will face undefeated Beavercreek (#10 rank) at home in their final regular season match on Saturday, October 12, at 11:30 a.m.
Mason Boys Soccer is the #2 seed in the upcoming postseason and will host Colerain in a district semi-final on Tuesday, October 22. The winner will advance to the district final on Saturday, October 26, to face either Walnut Hills or Oak Hills.

GIRLS SOCCER SHUTS OUT VIKES-SENIOR NIGHT
COMETS FINISH 2ND IN GMC STANDINGS
Mason Girls Soccer completed their GMC schedule last night with a 5-0 shutout of Princeton at home on senior night. The Comets finish the league in 2nd place to GMC counterpart Oak Hills who won their 3rd consecutive title in 2024.
Mason's goals were scored by Allyson Canham, Parker Evans, Anneliese Knight, and Alean Schneiderman (2). Knight and Chloe Wellington earned the shutout for the defense.
Comet seniors recognized for their contribution to the girl's soccer program were: Anneliese Knight, Gabby Dickey, Iris Zhu, Addison Benne, Lauren Cooley, Halle Martin, Alena Schneiderman, and Natalee Shafer. THANK YOU SENIORS!
Mason (10-4-2, 7-1-1) will conclude their regular season on Wednesday, 10/16 with a home match versus Little Miami.
Mason Girls Soccer is the #2 seed in the upcoming postseason. They will host Princeton for a 1st round game on Monday, 10/21. The winner will play either Beavercreek or Fairmont on Thursday, 10/24.

GIRLS' TENNIS SENDS 7 TO STATE!
COMETS HAVE HISTORIC DAY AT DISTRICT
Mason had a GREAT day at the SW District Finals on Thursday. The Comets took first and second place in doubles and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in singles.
Pratyusha Chaudhuri and Emma Wagner (last year's state champs) defeated teammates Bhavana Singidi and Adriana Moreno 6-4, 6-1 in the final.
In the semifinals, Chaudhuri and Wagner dispatched the Oak Hills duo of Lint and Harper 6-3, 6-1. Singidi and Moreno reached the final with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Sycamore's Sayles sisters.
Addison Cassidy beat teammate Saanvi Reddy 6-2, 6-0 in the semis and then lost a hard-fought final to St. Ursula's Maria Poon 7-5, 7-6.
Reddy beat Comet junior, Ana Gotike for third place 6-4, 6-0.
All seven Comets who entered the District qualified for next week's OHSAA State tournament in Wooster. This is the first time in school history that the Comets have placed the entire team in the OHSAA individual tourney.
The OHSAA State Tournament is slated for next Thursday/Friday, October 17-18 at the College of Wooster.
Mason is also alive in the OTCA team tournament; they will play Anthony Wayne in the state semifinals. The OTCA State Tournament will be held at the College of Wooster on Saturday, October 19.
The Girls Tennis program is ranked #1 in Division 1 Ohio and seeking their 8th consecutive OTCA State Title this fall.

GMC CHAMPS HAVE TWO MATCHES LEFT
Up Next: The Comets will face Turpin at home this Saturday, October 12, with match times at 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00. On Wednesday, 10/15 they close out the regular season at Kings.
Mason enters the postseason as the #2 seed and will host Princeton again in a district semi-final on Tuesday, October 22. The winner will face Wayne or Beavercreek in a district final at a neutral site (TBA).
