Growing Up Digital
Thanks to all who came on Thursday night for the special presentation of Screenagers. As there are both benefits and pitfalls of digital engagement, finding balance is key. We hope our families found the film informative and thought-provoking.

Re-Enrollment Contracts
Re-enrollment contracts for the 2017/2018 School year were mailed on Friday to our current families. Thanks for returning them to us by Monday, February 17.

- The date of the SMBA Basketball Finals has been moved to Thursday, February 9 at 7 p.m. (from Feb. 2) in the Middle School Singleton Campus Gym.

Gearing Up for Magic Dragon Day: T-Shirt Art Contest!
Calling all St M artists! Your dragon artwork could be chosen to appear on the 2017 Magic Dragon Day T-Shirts!
Contest Rules:
1. All entries must be submitted on a piece of white paper (8.5 x 11 inches). The drawing must include a picture of a dragon.
2. Please use a black marker or black ink pen (no colors or pencil) so that the design can be copied easily onto a shirt.
3. Write your name and grade in pencil on the back of the drawing. 4. Submit your entry to the office (Bon Air or Singleton) by the end of the school day on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Click here for a printable copy of the contest rules.

Basketball Double Header!
Show your Dragon Pride and join us for a Middle School Boys' and Girls' Basketball double header this Tuesday, January 24th!
The Girls' Varsity team will play St. Edwards at 5:30 p.m. and the Boys' Varsity team will play St. Chris at 6:45 p.m. in the Middle School Singleton Campus Gym.
Wear your Blue and White and come cheer on our teams!

| Shop and Dine: Make the SMPA Book Fair a Family Night!
The Book Fair will take place Tuesday-Thursday, January 31-February 2 at the Bon Air Campus. Open House will take place from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, February 2.- Annual "Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundaes" in the Art Room.
- Blooks for all grades K-8 will be offered. Books will be provided by bbgb bookshop. 15% of book sales come back to the SMPA!
- Make the Book Fair Open House a family night activity including DINNER! The Chipotle at the Stony Point Fashion Park has generously offered to give back 50% of all sales to St M from 2-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 2nd! Take this flyer to Chipotle after the book fair and enjoy a great night!"

Enjoy an evening on the town, and we'll watch the kids!
- Who: St M Students in grades K-8
- When: Friday, February 3, 6-9 p.m.
- Where: St M Extended Programs in the Lower School Ticer Hall.
- Cost: $25 for the first child, $15 for each additional child
- Dinner (pizza), snacks, movies, crafts, activities will be provided.

Need Spring Break Childcare?
St. M is partnering with Challenge Island to offer an exciting week of ISLAND-inspired camp! A minimum number of registrants is needed to hold the camp. Contact Allyson Steele, Director of Extended Programs, with questions.- When: March 6-10
- Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Where: St. Michael’s Episcopal School (Extended Programs Wing)
- Fee: $75 per day or $350 for full week (sign up for one day or all 5!)
