Action Items: What You Need to Know

1) Clear out pending transactions in UCPath by Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm
|
There are currently over 1000+ transactions that are in a Pending Approval status. Many of these transactions are old and likely need to be cancelled. Transactions pending approval must be approved or cancelled by Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm.
|
2) Be aware of the eForm and Self-Service Downtime
|
Be sure to complete all necessary self-service transactions and updates before the scheduled downtimes for the following eForms:

3) Be aware of the UCPath System Downtime
|
UCPath will be unavailable from Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm to Monday, July 14, 2025 at 6:00 am to implement the July Release projects. During the scheduled downtime, employees, managers, and transactors will not have access to the system.

A new look is coming to UCPath! As part of the Improve Self-Service project, the UCPath portal is getting a modern, user-friendly redesign. The new interface is designed to improve the overall user experience for employees and managers in UCPath.
|

The interface will have a clean, modern design that is accessible and mobile-friendly.
- Users will see a top navigation menu for easier browsing, similar to Blink.
- Grouped tiles for most-used information such as Pay, Benefits, and Personal Information.
- Transactors can now access tools through a new Transactor Hub.

NOTE: Bookmarks saved within your web browser to specific UCPath pages will not work in the new UCPath interface. Users should plan to navigate using the updated menu structure.

What will remain the same?
|

The core features and functionality of UCPath will remain the same.
- Users will still log in to UCPath through ucpath.universityofcalifornia.edu.

Favorites saved within PeopleSoft will remain the same in the new interface.

All employees and managers will be impacted.
- Videos and job aids will be available beginning June 30th in the UCPath Help Library.

|
|
The Annual UCPath Upgrade will upgrade UCPath's PeopleSoft System from PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) version 47 to version 49 to improve system performance and include accessibility enhancements.

Page labels in search results will now show more specific and descriptive names, making it easier to locate the correct page.

All transactors will be impacted.

|
Expanded Paid Sick Leave: Phase 2
|
|
|
The Expansion of Paid Sick Leave policy provides the state required minimum paid sick leave for eligible employees. Phase 2 will implement a new sick leave bank and expand protected sick leave eligibility for select employee groups.
|
- Academic employees will now have access to Expanded Paid Sick Leave options.
|
- Academic bank eligible employees will be impacted.
|
