Catalog and Curriculum Corner |

2026-2027 Catalog Pages Release
|
|
|
The 2026-2027 catalog pages will be released to departments the first week of September! If a department has not yet confirmed who will be responsible for editing their catalog content, please do so by emailing CLASgovernance@ku.edu
|
|
|
A stale courses report will be sent to department chairs and administrative staff soon. This report will contain courses that have not been offered in 5 or more years. Departments will need to complete a request form to retain these courses, otherwise they will be administratively dropped. Information on this form will be provided in the notice email.
|
|
|
For chairs and administrative staff who process academic misconduct for your College department:

Relevant and Upcoming deadlines |
|
- August 22nd:
- Last day to add/change sections online without permission. For students that are already enrolled, adding a new course or switching sections will require instructor permission.
- August 25th:
- Late enrollment petition begins. Students not enrolled in any courses before this date will need to complete a petition that they receive from their school. Students in the College needing a late enrollment petition must be directed to CUAS.
- September 8th:
- Last day to drop without a "W"
- September 15th:
- Last day to submit a late enrollment petition. All late enrollment after this date will require a FacEx form.

Last day for plan changes (changing major/minor/certificate). All plan changes after this date will be completed with effect Spring 2026.

Tammy Kraus joins our team as Governance Adminstrative Associate. Tammy provides supports to Rachel Decorie by assisting with the coordination of faculty governance, curriculum management, and College awards for faculty and students. In addition, she assists with front office services for students, faculty, and staff for the College Undergraduate Academic Services.

|
Taylor Wren joins our office as a Senior Administrative Associate. Taylor Wren serves as the assistant to Karen Ledom in College Undergraduate Academic Services. Taylor is responsible for the College petition process, College academic misconduct policies and concerns, and is the Scheduling Officer for all LA&S courses. Please contact Taylor via email with any questions.
