UAH alumna Mary W. Bates gives solid advice for when "life throws curveballs" »

By the time she was six, Mary "Lisa" Williams Bates ('14, MSE, Operations Research), was so far ahead of other children her age that she mastered the multiplication times tables to 12, and was reading National Geographic and other science books.

Unfortunately, she was also suffering from a hurried childhood - growing up too fast, too soon.

Andrew "Drew" Wallburg ('13, BS, MAE) is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, and he graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). Wallburg has received many military, academic, and civic honors and awards. He is a husband and proud father of two amazing young children.

UAH COB graduate DeShanda Frazier established mindset for entrepreneurship at an early age »

DeShanda Frazier's "mindset" for business began when she was a young girl, assisting her mother with various entrepreneurial ventures.

Frazier graduates from The University of Alabama in Huntsville's College of Business (UAH) on Thursday, Dec. 6, with an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management. Frazier said her mother had a knack for selling anything to anyone, at any time. "Mom taught me key lessons on how to sell to different people."
