“After distributing essential supplies to a village, we encountered approximately 50 enthusiastic children. Without hesitation we sprang into action, initiating an impromptu Young Life club. Witnessing these resilient children who have experienced the tragedy of an earthquake, light up with smiles, dance with joy, and have fun, was nothing short of heartwarming. However, the most touching aspect of this experience was observing our DGL student leader, "Ramzi," take charge of this particular club.
The Holy Spirit is undoubtedly working profound healing within his soul following the tragic loss of his younger brother. Despite his grief, he felt a divine calling to bring joy to others at a time when joy seemed elusive.”
