On May 15, IVC celebrated student achievement at its 41st Scholarship Awards Ceremony. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, 365 students received 625 scholarships totaling $735,650. Students also benefited from $269,128 in awards from external partners and $29,546 in emergency funds. Together, these investments provided more than $1,050,000 in direct student support, marking the highest total in the college’s history. View Scholarship Ceremony Photos »

Irvine Valley College is proud to showcase the creativity and talent of its student artists through the 2026 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, on display at the IVC Art Gallery through July 13. The exhibition opened to a standing-room-only crowd on April 30 and features exceptional student work in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital media, graphic design, and mixed media. On May 12, IVC hosted its inaugural First-Generation Graduate Celebration, bringing together first-generation graduates, campus leaders, and supporters for an evening of recognition, reflection, and community. Hosted by President of the First-Generation Student Club Sophia Diaz, the celebration honored the resilience, determination, and academic achievements of students who are creating new opportunities for themselves, their families, and future generations. On May 8, the IVC Honors Program celebrated 441 graduating students at its annual Awards Ceremony. The event recognized students who successfully completed the Honors Program and are taking the next step in their academic journeys through transfer.
