Join FIT4MOM Front Range and run "the fastest and most scenic (1/2) marathon in Colorado!" First time half marathoners will enjoy a 12 week training program that slowly and safely builds on mileage. Seasoned runners can use this training program as an opportunity to increase speed and work toward a PR. Runners should be comfortable running 3 miles at the start of training. While we have transitioned from a run/walk training program to a running program, we are here to support you and your race, whatever that looks like for you! We want to see you meet your goal and cross the finish line successfully and safely! Please contact McKenzie with any questions regarding the training program and new training plan!

Half Marathon Training Package: $120
  • 12 weeks training schedule
  • Sunday coached group runs
  • A copy of the book "Run Like a Mother" co-authored by CO local mother runner Dimity McDowell
  • FIT4MOM shirt
  • Private Facebook page for support
  • Topic of the week including runners nutrition, injury prevention, hydration and more
  • Free shoe fitting/clinic with local running store Altitude (including a 15% discount for FIT4MOM members and runners
  • Other running seminars and information sharing to increase your running knowledge
*Race fee is not included in training package
Schedule:
  • Training registration: Open 01/20/2015
  • Registration deadline for training: 02/08/15
  • Orientation meeting with coach McKenzie 02/08/15
  • Training week one begins 02/0915
  • First group run: Sun 02/15/2015 at 8amĀ 
  • Group runs are each Sunday at 8am at various trails in Fort Collins
