Funds Available to Support International Speaking Opportunities
The NATA International Speaker Program provides funding support to athletic trainers who wish to present their research or intellectual content at conferences or symposia outside of the United States. Applications may be submitted at any time during the calendar year, but must be received at least two months prior to the conference of interest to receive full consideration. Applicants may request up to $5,000 to cover preapproved expenditures related to the conference. For more information or to apply, download the International Speaker Program application. Join the AT Student Challenge
Are you interested in finding a meaningful activity for your athletic training student organization while taking part in a grassroots fundraising effort? The 2019-20 Athletic Training Student Challenge provides your program, club or Iota Tau Alpha chapter a unique opportunity to support the NATA Foundation by raising money to help the organization meet its goals. As an NATSC participant, your donations made to the 2020 Development and Support Fund will help the NATA Foundation with important initiatives such as education, mentorship, research and scholarship programs.

SLAP Lesions Webinar Provides EBP CEU
The deadline to register for the Oct. 16 webinar “Evidence-Based Management for Overhead Athletes with SLAP Lesions” is 11:59 p.m. CDT Oct. 15. The webinar will provide clinicians with the most up-to-date information regarding diagnosis, surgical interventions, rehabilitation and return to play for overhead athletes diagnosed with a superior labral tear from anterior to posterior.
