More volunteers needed to deliver prescription medications!
Since the beginning of the pandemic, our GLMS members have partnered with our GLMS Foundation in delivering vital prescription medications to low-income quarantined patients in our community in conjunction with the Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness Department. Recently, there has been a huge uptick in daily prescription delivery requests, and we need your help to meet this increasing demand. Without this program, these patients may not otherwise have access to their prescriptions. If you (or anyone in your practice or family) have any availability to help with these deliveries, please sign up here.
We are assisting the health department in their development of a plan for independent, non-hospital affiliated practices to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. As soon as we have details on the plan, we will communicate it to our membership.
We are committed to keeping you informed with the latest communication and resources available regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit our website for the most up-to-date resources from local and national agencies on patient screening, telehealth, financial relief for practices, PPE and more.
